handwoven bag, created from textile waste | mixed materials

these bags are crafted by women artisans in rural maharashtra, india from discarded sarees that are then repurposed. the colors and final designs are created based on the color lot of the sarees sourced. 

the insides are lined with cotton and small pockets. a detachable leather strap in a coordinated color is provided. please note that strap colors vary and picture shown is only an indication of finish. 

small variations, slubs, and minor fraying are the natural outcomes and inherent characteristics of this hand-knitted product. they make each product unique and beautiful. 

please keep away from sharp objects and excess moisture. spot cleaning is recommended.
